The Regenerative Diet
INTRODUCTION TO THE REGENERATIVE DIET

When it comes to choosing a diet, it should be borne in mind that it is not easy to find a diet that is tailor-made for you, since your own needs are unique, taking into account the fact that everyone has their own history of eating patterns, leading to different strengths and weaknesses. Some people have too much fat, some people are underweight, everyone is different.
This diet is meant only as a rough guide to show the possibilities. It is, however, a certainty that very few people indeed are partaking of a diet which has the potency of this one. Anyone who follows this regime will notice a vast improvement in their health, even if they only use it for one month.
This diet is not to get you fat or to get you thin. Its purpose is to build you a healthy body. Complete repair and return to optimum performance is the goal. This requires a twofold approach.

First: Immediate and continued attention must be given to ridding the body of accumulated toxins which may have been resident for many years. These come from the worst pollution of all: the adulteration of our food with poisonous chemicals.
Second: You must provide your body with ALL the materials it needs to build healthy blood, bone, and tissue. A house built of inferior materials falls into disrepair quickly, and has a short life. It is known to science which elements comprise the human body, and it is also known to science which foods contain these elements. It is about to be made known to you.

The object is to get healthy and to stay healthy. To get healthy, you can start from anywhere, in fact you must start from where you are, be it at death's door. This regime can alleviate the misery of the sick, as well as bolstering the strength of the sturdy.

In order to operate this diet to its maximum potential, you will need the following equipment:

JUICES
Only an electric juice extractor will do the job properly. Champion juicers are the best, but they are expensive. It is now possible to buy a juicer in the High Street for around forty pounds.

MIXED DRINKS
A blender is indispensible for those.

HI POTENCY CEREAL
A grain and seed mill, or a coffee grinder is the minimum required here, unless you are really handy with a mortar and pestle.

SALADS
A grater, a garlic press, a sharp knife, and a cutting board are all you will require here. It is also extremely important that you learn to grow alfalfa sprouts, as they are not commonly commercially available. To sprout, all you need is water, and something to hold the seeds, such as a glass jar, or a net bag. They can also be easily grown in a tray of earth, or organic growing medium, like cress.

HOT DRINKS
Use a stainless steel saucepan or glass or pyrex to heat water for hot drinks.

DRINKING WATER
Only distilled water is pure. All other water is contaminated with insoluble elements and/or poisonous chemicals. For a perfect diet, you need a distiller.

"LET FOOD BE YOUR MEDICINE, LET MEDICINE BE YOUR FOOD."

Thus said Hippocrates, The Father of Medicine, and he was perfectly correct. The best food you can eat is food which enhances your health, in other words, healing foods. This should, in fact, be your total diet. It makes no sense to eat anything else. Those who are addicted to refined sugar products, the flesh of animals, and other unnatural "foods"; those people are doomed to an early grave, as well as an uncomfortable time while they are alive.
There is no easy way out. Abstinence from the mass market de-natured, chemicalised products which are accepted as "food” in this modern society is the only solution. It is a sad fact that almost everything which comes out of a packet or a tin is unfit for human consumption, as it has been stripped of its vital properties and laced with chemicals you wouldn't even want on your skin.
To escape this endless cycle, it is necessary that you learn to discriminate between what is real and what is not. There is no way that the giant food companies will ever furnish you with Optimum Nutrition, because their whole business revolves around the processing and repackaging of plants which were O.K. to eat in their original state, that is, fresh and raw.
The "Foods of the Future" have all been selected because each and every one of them is packed with the stuff of life, vitamins and minerals in a form easily taken up by the human body. It is a grave error to think that you can get your vitamins and minerals from pills. Already we are hearing rumours of various symptoms arising from the taking of high concentrations of single vitamins. The single vitamin does not exist in Nature. A multiplicity of vitamins is the way Nature does it. It is known, for instance, that many vitamins work in combination not only with other vitamins, but with certain trace elements.
Science has always been obsessed with extracting "vital essences" from whole plants, culminating in the mess we are in today. The whole drug industry has sprung from this incorrect assumption that one can take a plant to pieces and isolate the life-giving element. This is a bad idea, and to illustrate why, let us look at a simple example.
If you were to eat 200 apple seeds, you would die, as apple seeds contain tiny quantities of a virulent poison. However, if you were to eat an apple with every 12 seeds, you would be O.K. This should lead us to suspect that Nature in her infinite wisdom has achieved a balance unattainable by human science, as we are constantly reading about new dangers associated with substances which have been stripped from their original source plant. Why on earth can we not just eat the plant? Our bodies are well used to processing plants and extracting exactly what we need and eliminating the rest. From cocaine to aspirin, there are grave problems associated with isolating concentrations from plants. Look at the inhabitants of Peru. These people chew coca all day long and feel no ill-effects. It is an essential adjunct to their daily diet, and no-one has ever died or become ill through chewing coca. But cocaine, which is a 1% extract of coca, is another matter entirely. If you were to eat a gram of pure cocaine, you would be dead in twenty minutes of respiratory failure.
It is dangerous to tamper with the fruits of Nature.
Everything we shall ever need already exists, locked away in foods of inestimable value. The "Foods of the Future" not only have the highest concentrations of live vitamin combinations and assimilable minerals, but contain healing factors impossible to achieve in any other way.
In fact, Science does not fully know why these foods act as they do. In spite of modern analytical techniques, even a food like honey defies analysis. 5% of the constituents of honey remain unknown, to this day, and honey has been with us for a long, long time. But it is not necessary to know everything. All we have to do is eat it.

In order that you take full advantage of "The Regenerative Diet", it is absolutely essential that you learn to grow sprouting seeds, especially alfalfa.
There is no food on this earth which contains so much. If we could design a food containing everything we need to maintain a healthy body, we could not do better, as alfalfa contains everything we need and more.
Alfalfa seeds are cheap. Sprouts are being sold in Britain, but for a healing diet, it is preferable that you learn to grow them yourself, thus ensuring that a large part of your daily needs are taken care of without depending on the vagaries of the market-place.
It is very easy to sprout alfalfa. All that is required is the observance of a few simple rules.
First, the seeds must always be kept moist, but cannot be allowed to lie in water.
Second, the seeds must be well ventilated, as they need access to the air.
Third, they should be grown in the dark, until the day when they are to be eaten. As soon as the light reaches them, they will begin to turn green, signifying the formation of chlorophyll, a substance which has a structure almost identical to milk, and also blood.

If the seeds become dried out, they will die.
If the seeds become waterlogged, they will die.

The very simplest way to grow them is to take a glass jar, like a 2 lb. honey jar, dump a tablespoon of seeds inside, and tie a piece of muslin or gauze over the top of the jar. (I use ordinary curtain net with an elastic band). A mason jar with a stainless-steel gauze top is perfect.

After soaking the seeds overnight, drink the water or give it to your plants. Now tilt the jar upside-down in such a way that the seeds are hanging free against the gauze. On no account should you let them clump against the glass, as this will cause them to rot.
Once you have found the correct angle, it is only necessary to rinse them twice a day, shaking them around to ensure they do not get cut off from the air.
In about four or five days, they will be over two inches long, and ready to eat. Put them in the sunlight for a few minutes, or, if you live in Britain, expose them to any light at all. Just dump them on a plate or a wooden bowl, and turn them over from time to time to ensure that the sprouts can breathe. Remember that they are alive.
You can eat any amount of alfalfa sprouts, the more the better.
In fact all of the "Foods of the Future" are completely safe. You cannot overdose on these foods, and they will enhance the nutritive power of your daily diet like nothing else on Earth.
If you could discipline yourself to the point where you were eating only for nutrition, you could not do better than to eat the "Foods of the Future", of which the best are undoubtedly Alfalfa Sprouts and Bee Pollen.
Pollen contains all the known vitamins except B12, which is found in abundance in alfalfa. Pollen also contains everything else needed to sustain life, including all the amino-acids, many rare trace elements, natural antibiotics, essential minerals, the list goes on and on, with new and new discoveries being made all the time on this remarkable food.
I would like to bring attention here to the work of Dr. Ann Wigmore of The Hippocrates Institute in Boston. This remarkable woman, now over eighty, has saved many a terminally ill patient from death, and is known as "The Sprout Queen". She lives totally on sprouts, avocadoes, and raw juices, and only sleeps for four hours a day.
In this day and age, it is essential to jettison the old ways of eating and eat only for nutrition. If you can do this, you will reap the benefits in the years to come, and can lead others into health by your example.

This diet is so nutritious, that you could easily survive in good health on half of this menu. This is especially so since amounts are not specified in this unique approach to Optimum Nutrition. This means that if you absolutely hate the taste of something, there is no need for you to eat it. Everything you eat should taste absolutely delicious. However, you must allow for the fact that you are used to accepting certain food, and your perception of what is good may be clouded by years of eating de-natured or other artificial commercial "food".
The important thing is to get back to food which has not been tampered with in a destructive manner.
The evening before you begin the Regenerative Diet, take a Tablespoon of Alfalfa Seeds and dump them into a large glass jar. With a thick elastic band, secure a piece of net over the top of the jar, so that the seeds cannot be lost when you pour out the water necessary to sprouting. Before you go to bed, fill the jar halfway up with water, preferably distilled. Let the seeds soak overnight.
Drink this water. It is full of minerals, and has even been known to alleviate headaches and hangovers.

It is recommended that upon rising, you eat a teaspoon of Golden Pollen. This will give you an immediate burst of energy, and help you through the most sluggish period of the day. If you are prone to allergies, begin with a few granules, increasing the daily dose until you can eat larger amounts. You should notice the benefits of this immediately.

FIRST WEEK
For the first drink of the day, drink only herbal teas with honey. Follow this with as much apple-pineapple juice as you like.

SECOND WEEK
On awakening each morning, after exercising and bathing, relax with a tablespoon of Dr. Bronner's DO-IT in a cup of hot water. This is the first meal of the day, and will give you immediate nutrition instantly assimilated, including Vitamin C, B6 and B12, complete protein, and an array of rare trace elements which you are almost certainly deficient in.

THIRD WEEK
Drink a pint of your favourite herbal tea, with honey and a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar. If you like to mix your own combinations, for superb blend mix, equal portions of Mint, Raspberry, Papaya leaf.

FOURTH WEEK
A complete meal in a drink. Blend 1 pint soy milk with 2 tablespoons of Blackstrap Molasses, 1 teaspoon Bronner's Calcium-Magnesium powder, 1 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast, 1 banana. A ripe banana has brown spots and tastes eminently more delicious than a banana that is simply yellow, or even green. These bananas are inedible and may give you indigestion.
The first few days are aimed at elimination of toxins. When you are trying to eliminate, it is best to go for less rather than more food as the eliminative system works best when your digestion is resting.
Liquids are especially important at this stage. Water, preferably distilled, will work wonders, dislodging toxins and carrying them away through the kidneys. Try to drink as much as you can the first few days, fruit juice also has tremendous eliminative power, and if you can drink four pints of apple or pineapple juice daily for the first three days, you will feel the benefit of it immediately. Fruit juice is a terrific cleanser. Pineapple juice will eat through varnish into wood. It is an extremely powerful dissolving agent, but it cannot hurt us, who have evolved around the assimilation of raw plants as food for a million years.

THE REGENERATIVE DIET

DAY 1
Drink apple juice in the morning and throughout the day. Do not take any solid food at all, with the exception of Propolis, which is like a natural chewing gum. Chew as much as you like, it will expel harmful bacteria, an provide valuable vitamins, enzymes and minerals.
Evening: Make a salad of raw grated beets and carrots, with raw broccoli. Make a dressing of lemon juice and olive oil. Sprinkle with Balanced Mineral Seasoning or Bouillon.
Drink a Tablespoon of Do-it in a cup of hot water before bed-time.

DAY 2
SAME AGAIN

DAY 3
Today, make half apple, half pineapple juice with a beet thrown in. It is recommended that you drink at least four pints of juice daily for the first three days. II you should feel hunger pangs, chew Propolis, or eat a tablespoon of Golden Pollen.
Evening: Same as day 1 and 2.

DAY 4
Breakfast: Enjoy a bowl of Lecithin Protein Cereal with grated apples.
Blend 1 pint soymilk, 2 tablespoons yogurt, 1 teaspoon Calcium Food Malt, honey to taste.
Lunch: 1 ripe avocado with Balanced Mineral Bouillon.
Dinner: Make a big salad with lettuce, tomato, onion, shredded red cabbage, peppers, and Emmental cheese. Squeeze a garlic clove into olive oil for dressing (other herbs may be added). Sprinkle with sunflower seeds and Balanced Mineral Seasoning.

DAY 5
Breakfast: Grind enough almonds to satisfy you, and eat as cereal with soymilk, strawberries, cherries, any fruit in season.
Lunch: Bowl alfalfa sprouts with lemon juice. Sprinkle with Kelp Sea Lettuce.
Dinner: Toasted Sandwiches. Toast as many pieces of rye bread as you think you can eat. Lay them out, with a lettuce leaf on each. Mix up some guacamole. (Blend a ripe avocado with a teaspoon of Balanced Mineral Bouillon, a tablespoon diced red onion, and a dash of cayenne pepper) Place a dollop of guacamole on each lettuce leaf. A thin tomato slice, then a slab of Emmental cheese (or other, as you wish). Place this under the grill, until the cheese has melted. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve, open-face.

DAY 6
Breakfast: Grind 3 parts sunflower seeds to 1 part pumpkin seeds. In a bowl, add Golden Pollen and soy milk to taste.
Lunch: Grape juice or fruit,
Dinner: Salad. Alfalfa sprouts with grated carrots, tomatoes in quarters, walnuts, olives, parsley.
Dressing: 3 parts olive oil, 1 part apple cider vinegar. Sautee a slab of tofu in olive oil or butter, then douse it in Balanced Mineral Bouillon.

DAY 7
Breakfast: Halve a melon. Fill with Greek yogurt. Sprinkle with Golden Pollen.
Lunch: Avocado with mixed sprouts. Sprinkle with Bronner's Kelp Sea Lettuce or Balanced Mineral Bouillon.
Dinner: Grate carrots and cabbage. Sprinkle with pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cauliflower, feta cheese, parsley, tofu.
Dressing: Olive oil and lemon juice with Balanced Mineral seasoning to taste.

DAY 8
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal. Grind four parts sunflower seeds, three parts wheat seeds, two parts pumpkin seeds, one part sesame seeds with half a dried fig. Make sure you grind the wheat seeds very fine. Use more or less fig (or other dried fruit) as you wish. It is best to pop the fig in first with the sunflower seeds, then do the wheat and the other ingredients. Add milk and yogurt.
Lunch: Fruit salad. Chop up ripe fruits in season. Sprinkle with Calcium-Magnesium powder and eat.
Dinner: Sandwiches with hummus, sprouts, onion, sour cream. Or try avocado slices with cream cheese and olives. Always use the most natural bread you can find, unleavened if possible. It is certainly not essential to eat bread, but I very rarely meet anyone who would think of going without it.

DAY 9
Give your system a rest. Drink a cup of DO-IT in the morning. Then try to drink nothing but vegetable juices the rest of the day. Carrot juice is best, with a dash of kelp or Balanced Mineral Seasoning.

DAY 10
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal.
Lunch: Alfalfa sprouts with lemon juice.
Dinner: Green salad. Use all green edible leaves (lettuce, chives, cabbage, spinach, mint, basil, comfrey if you can get it). Top with tomato slices, onion, cottage cheese sprinkled with cayenne pepper.

DAY 11
Breakfast: Mix a drink using soy milk, a ripe banana, Nutritional Yeast, Blackstrap Molasses.
Lunch: Sprouts with cottage cheese.
Dinner: Sautee a slab of tofu in olive oil, douse with Balanced Mineral Bouillon or tamari and serve with a big mixed salad.

DAY 12
Breakfast: Fruit salad with yogurt and ground sunflower seeds.
Lunch: Alfalfa sprouts with avocado and lemon juice. Remember, an avocado must be ripe, and that means mushy. Eating a hard avocado is a waste of time.
Dinner: Chop up parsley, onion, red cabbage, olives. Make up mayonnaise using 1 egg, 2 tablespoons lemon juice, 1 tablespoon tarragon, 2 tablespoons olive oil, dash of mustard powder. Squeeze a clove of garlic into the mixture and add plenty tofu. Use this as a dip with corn chips, or celery and carrot sticks or as a filling for sandwiches.

DAY 13
Breakfast: Ground almonds with milk and dates.
Lunch: Bananas and apples dipped in Golden Pollen.
Dinner: Mixed sprouts with tomato, eggplant, cheese.

DAY 14
Breakfast: Dissolve honey in hot (not boiling) water. Squeeze two lemons into the water and drink. Follow this with half a melon.
Lunch: Alfalfa sprouts with avocado and cheese. Dinner Celery, apples, carrots, walnuts. Sprinkle with Balanced Mineral Seasoning and olive oil/lemon juice dressing.

DAY 15
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal.
Lunch: Blended drink with milk, Blackstrap Molasses, Nutritional Yeast, ripe banana.
Dinner: Large bowl of mixed sprouts topped with chopped raw vegetables. Make a dressing with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic.

DAY 16
Breakfast: Blend a ripe banana with half a pint of apple juice and half a pint of milk. Add honey if you wish.
Lunch: Plain yogurt with honey or pollen. Apple juice.
Dinner: Grated carrots, alfalfa sprouts, olives, cheese or tofu. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper and lemon juice.

DAY 17
Breakfast: Blend Calcium-Magnesium powder with pineapple juice.
Lunch: Alfalfa sprouts with Nutritional Yeast and cayenne.
Dinner: Toasted rye bread. Make a spread with mashed tofu and avocado. Add a dash of Spirulina and cover with a slab of cheese (open face). Grill until cheese begins to melt, sprinkle Nutritional Yeast on top.

DAY 18
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal with strawberries and yogurt.
Lunch: Fruit salad using multiple fruits and• nuts. Squeeze lemon juice over it. (Example: Banana, strawberries, cherries, walnuts).
Dinner: Brown rice. Use short-grain organic, simmer until slightly soft. Serve with steamed broccoli. Sprinkle with Mineral Bouillon or Nutritional Yeast.

DAY 19
Fast from solid food today. Drink only fruit juices and vegetable juices.

DAY 20
Breakfast: Grated apples with Lecithin Protein Cereal.
Lunch: Lettuce, tomato, radish, topped with cottage cheese.
Dinner: Avocado dip. Mash one ripe avocado with tofu, sour cream, dash kelp, dash cayenne. Serve with carrot and celery sticks or corn chips.

DAY 21
Breakfast: Ground sunflower seeds with goats milk, strawberries, honey.
Lunch: Avocado with Mineral Bouillon.
Dinner: Sautee cubes of tofu with onion and garlic. Douse with DO-IT. Serve with garlic rye bread on a bed of alfalfa sprouts.

DAY 22
Breakfast: Melon with lemon juice.
Lunch: Mixed fruit salad with yogurt and seeds or nuts.
Dinner: Large vegetable salad with plenty of leafy qreens, olives, cheese cubes, tomatoes, pumpkin seeds. Make a dressing with olive oil, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice. Squeeze a garlic clove in, or cut it up into tiny pieces and disperse it throughout. Sprinkle sesame seeds in.

DAY 23
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal.
Lunch: Juice. Half apple, half pineapple with a beet thrown in.
Dinner: Take the flowerettes off cauliflower and broccoli, mix up with avocado and sour cream or tofu. Make a dressing using oil, apple cider vinegar, honey. Any salad benefits by the addition of raw brussel sprouts.

DAY 24
Breakfast: Blended drink with soymilk, 1 Tablespoon Nutritional Yeast, 1 Tablespoon Blackstrap Molasses, 1 ripe banana.
Lunch: Melon with yogurt topped with Golden Pollen.
Dinner: Tear up some leafy greens into bite size pieces. Spinach, comfrey, chives, mint, basil are a good combination. Add diced carrots, onions, tomatoes then almonds or sunflower seeds and dressing.

DAY 25
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal.
Lunch: Grape juice blended with Greek yogurt.
Dinner: Flat bread with avocado, tomato and lettuce.

DAY 26
Breakfast: Apple-beet-pineapple juice.
Lunch: Sprouts and cottage cheese and/or sunflower seeds.
Dinner: Brown rice with steamed broccoli, courgettes, eggplant.

DAY 27
Breakfast: Grated apples with Lecithin Protein Cereal.
Lunch: 1 avocado with Balanced Mineral Bouillon.
Dinner: Grate carrots and beets in equal quantities. Add nuts, seeds.

DAY 28
Breakfast: Hi-potency cereal with fresh fruit.
Lunch: Sprouts, tomatoes, radishes, lemon juice.
Dinner: Hummus on flatbread. To make hummus, cook chickpeas. Put them in a blender with one clove finely diced garlic, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1 cup tahini, dash cayenne pepper, diced raw parsley, diced raw onion.

DAY 29
Breakfast: Fruit salad. Fresh Coconut Chunks with diced pineapple. Add other fruit as desired. Sprinkle with lemon juice and/or Calcium Food Malt.
Lunch: Grape or apple juice blended with yogurt.
Dinner: Big salad. Lettuce, alfalfa sprouts, avocado slices, tomato slices, cucumber slices, radishes, pumpkin seeds, hummus, dressing.

DAY 30
Breakfast: Grated apples with Lecithin Protein Cereal.
Lunch: Ripe bananas. Blend a drink with milk, 1 teaspoon Calcium-Magnesium powder, honey, blackstrap molasses. Use soymilk if you prefer.
Dinner: 1 slab tofu, alfalfa sprouts, sunflower seeds, tomato, parsley dash kelp, dash cayenne. Dump guacamole on top. (See DAY 5).

It is not completely necessary to use the "supplements" I refer to. It is simply desirable, for all these "supplements" are actual foods, and are the best available on the planet, today.

As I have said before, the important thing is to get as much RAW food as is possible, preferably organically grown. Your own desire will lead you to your own perfect diet if you can discipline yourself to go through the change. All tastes are acquired, and after 30 days of eating real food, you will never go back. Your old habitual meals will taste lifeless, once you opt for the real thing. Health is your only real wealth. Good Fortune!
