Zinc plays an important role in the metabolism of proteins, carbohydrates and lipids. It is a component of some 200 enzymes and is involved in more enzymatic reactions than any other mineral. It is a constituent of insulin, growth hormones and sex hormones, and is richly contained in human sperm. It takes part in carbohydrate metabolism, the breakdown of alcohol and the synthesis of nucliec acids. Zinc can also speed up the healing of wounds and is used to cure ulcers resulting from cortisone treatment.
Each vegetable capsule contains; 125mg of Zinc Gluconate in a base of rice powder which provides 15mg of elemental Zinc plus 60mg of sodium ascorbate as vitamin C
Take as a food supplement one capsules a day.
